I was in NYC last weekend and it was hard to imagine what the Financial District was like before 9/11/01.  I was in class at the time and we just happened to be watching CNN at the time.  Hard to imagine that eight years have already gone by.

It always seems that the end of July coincides with the end of summer, even though there is little different between July and August.  I guess we ought to just celebrate the remnants of summer.  With that in mind, here are 10 random songs for July, 31st 2009:

Warning is easily the Green Day album I’ve listen to most.  That cd didn’t come out of my car player for weeks.  “Cross Out the Eyes” is probably my favorite Thursday song, at least that I can think of off hand.  I need to revisit their albums still this summer.  Lo and behold, another Thursday song pops up next, funny how that works.  I’m not much of a Dave Matthews fan, but the music has its time and place I guess.  For some reason I much prefer Guster to DMB, but who knows why.
