Silva v. Liriano

Tonight the Twins start their weekend series with the Seattle Mariners. Former Twin Carlos Silva will start for the seamen and Franchise will start for the Twins. I wanted to highlight this game because I am always eager to see a former Minnesota player get beat while playing the Twins. Silva always struck me as a pitcher who was one adjustment away from being elite, but unfortunately for Silva, he has yet to remain an above average pitcher. Hopefully he doesn’t discover the secret of being a great pitcher while facing the Twins tonight. Let get this series started off right with a win! Go Twins!
