Several members have asked me how to create a custom user picture for this site. It is very simple.
1. Go to http://en.gravatar.com/
2. Register for the gravatar service [which is free] using the same email you used to sign up for this site.
3. Upload a picture to gravatar.
4. The gravatar image will appear as your user picture for this site.
Gravatar has many advantages:
1. You can upload any size image and edit on the web to look great;
2. You can take your avatar with you, that way when you register for a new site that uses gravatar, you will already have a customized user picture;
3. Gravatar is fully integrated with WordPress.
