I’ve spent all week trying to recover from a long and awesome weekend in Des Moines. I’ve nothing but studying and a final planned for the upcoming weekend and the foreseeable future. Well in the interests of full disclosure, I also plan to watch as many Twins games as I can. Without further ado, here is my random 10 songs for Friday April, 24th 2009:

I love the "Sunken Treasure Live" EP. My favorite is on "Shot in the Arm" where he can't quite get started and he's like "I've only ever played this song like seven f**king million times." How are you finding Wilco/Jeff Tweedy?
I'm definitly digging them so far. I'm going to have to get some
deeper cuts soon.
And I'm open to your suggestions for the next album. Whats your personal favorite?
Oh man, I dunno if I could pick a favorite. "Being There" and ""Summer teeth" are both excellent. I think I'd start there. i'd have to say "A.M." is last, but that's not by much. I'm sure other Citizens could also put in their 2 cents.
1. “Sprout and the Bean” Joanna Newsom – The Milk-Eyed Mender
2. “It’s Late” Queen – News of the World
3. “Shining Star” Earth Wind & Fire – That’s the Way of the World
4. “My Rain” Boris (w/Michio Kurihara) – Rainbow
5. “Factory” Bruce Springsteen – Darkness On The Edge Of Town
6. “Every Little Bit Hurts” Small Faces – BBC Sessions: 1965-1968
7. “Forest of Love” Antony & The Johnsons – You Are My Sister EP
8. “Kid Dynamite” Squirrel Bait – Skag Heaven
9. “Shea Stadium” Marnie Stern – This Is It And I Am It…
10. “Baby’s On Fire” Brian Eno – Here Come The Warm Jets
bonus: “Bottom of the Barrel” Arizona Amp and Alternator – Arizona Amp and Alternator
