This isn’t so much a Friday 10 as a Thursday afternoon 10, but I’ll be on a plane to Des Moines on Friday morning so I’m pre-writing my random 10 songs now. My friend and I will be co-hosting our Bachelor Parties in Des Moines. Our schedule of events is below. Since we’ll be celebrating our soon to be ending singledom, I’m granting myself veto powers for this list. Of course I’ll list the songs I vetoed in the interest of open government . . . or something like that. Here’s my ten semi-random songs for Friday April 17th 2009:

- 5:30 PM – Tailgate for I-Cubs Game
- 7 PM – I-Cubs Game
- 9 PM – Bar Crawl through downtown Des Moines [Read: Court Ave Area]
- Late Night Visit to Drake’s Campus and 34th Street
- 10 AM – Bachelorpalooza Invitational at Blank Golf Course (In case of weather we will be going to Trophy’s/Plaza lanes to hang out and bowl)
- 6 PM – Outdoor BBQ in Urbandale
- 9 PM – Booze Cruise
- Recover
- 1 PM – Watch Baseball at Champps. Twins for me, Braves for Spear, arguments all around.

I didn't even realize till just now it's Relays Weekend. A bachelor party during Relays is either the dumbest or most brilliant thing I've ever heard of, I'm not sure which.
It was a great day. We missed the real relays by a week because I have a final this Saturday. I love the High Life Lounge. I think its the carpet that does it for me. There were still a lot of people in town so it was pretty crazy.
