[Note: I’m sure you’ve already seen these lists going around the interwebs, so obviously this isn’t an original idea. But I still like the idea of posting ten random songs from your chosen music library. The rules are simple: Play your entire library of songs on random, and record the first ten that come up. No matter what 10 songs appear, post them.]
It has already been two Fridays since my last Friday 10. Man time flies . . . time to get back into the swing of things.
Here is my ten for Friday, March 13th 2009, hopefully Hanson won’t rear their ugly mugs again:
- Yellowcard – Lights and Sounds: “Martin Sheen or JFK”
- The Smashing Pumpkins – Greatest Hits Disc 1: “1979”
- Kenny Chesney – Be as You Are: “Sherry’s Living in Paradise”
- Oasis – (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?: “Champagne Supernova”
- Tony Tribe – Bob Marley and the Story of Reggae Disc 1: “Red, Red Wine”
- The Daktaries – This is Daptone Records…: “Eltsuhg Ibal Lasiti”
- The Killers – Sawdust: “Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll”
- AFI – Sing the Sorrow: “The Leaving Song, Pt. 2”
- Bloc Party – Intimacy: “Mercury”
- Eve 6 – Its All in Your Head: “Hey Montana”
Pretty varied list. Eve 6 is one of my favorite bands, but “Hey Montana” is the song I skip every time I listen to that album. I also cannot stand “Champagne Supernova” but that’s only because some people I dislike argue that it is the greatest song ever written. And they’re not kidding. Reggae?! I’m surprised every week.
What’s on your list for today?
